**Bridge to BCG**
Bridge to BCGis a three day workshop for advanced degree candidates being held this summer and will allow participants to test drive consulting and:
– find out about consulting and get to know BCG
– participate in a realistic case team experience
– learn from BCG’s thought leaders
– meet BCG consultants and students during social and educational events

Travel and meal expenses will be covered. This workshop is specifically for advanced degree candidates (PhDs, MDs, post-docs, and JDs) expecting to finish in 2017. For all Bridge applicants, we are looking for people interested in potentially starting a consulting career in 2017.

CTE Graduate Student/Postdoctoral Institute: Please Share!
Are you a graduate student or postdoctoral scholar preparing to go on the job market? If so, please join Rice’s Center for Teaching Excellence for our spring Graduate Student Institute for Graduate Students and Postdocs on Friday, April 1st, from 9AM-12PM in Herring 129. In this 3-hour hands-on and interactive workshop, we will discuss how to find and interpret job advertisements, how to create materials that best convey your research and teaching abilities and interests, how best to anticipate and respond to questions in the interview process, and how to demonstrate one’s teaching abilities in an on-campus setting.
Coffee and pastries will be served, and all graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are welcome.

Fannin Innovation Studio Entrepreneurship Fellow Program
Fannin Innovation Studio is currently seeking applications for a Two-Year, Full-Time Fellowship.
The fellowship program is designed to provide innovative scientists with the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills and promote the commercialization of life science technologies within the Texas Medical Center.
Applications are invited for a 2-year, full-time fellowship from individuals with a strong scientific background who wish to develop a career in entrepreneurship. Applicants must have experience in life science research, clinical care, or life science commercialization and be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for the duration of the fellowship. A doctoral degree or equivalent is highly desirable.
