The University of Arizona is pleased to announce and invite you to attend Science Diplomacy and Policy with focus on the Americas. This conference will be convened in Tucson from February 22 to 24, 2017. The conference goal is to bring scientists, policy scientists, students, and others to participate in these discussions on the potential reach of science policy and diplomacy.
To that end, with the support of E. William Colglazier, we have organized a preeminent group of distinguished national and international experts in the field of science diplomacy. They will discuss the role of various agents involved in achieving science driven policy objectives and improving relationships through science collaborations. The conversation will then shift to the science diplomacy in relation to the UN Sustainability Development Goals and Climate and Water Resources issues in the Americas.
We would greatly appreciate if you shared this information with any departments or individuals you think may be interested in joining us for this event. More information is available on the flyer below and attached and our website (https://global.arizona.edu/science-diplomacy).
